Frederick Meijer Gardens
I recently did a photo shoot at "Frederick Meijer Gardens" and in effort to get my pennies worth on my membership I went back to shoot the gardens themselves. It could not have been a more beautiful day today either. I hope you enjoy looking at these pictures as much as I did taking them!

Project 365- & all that.....jazz!
Day 223
Today I took pictures of this sweet couple at "Fredrick Meijer Gardens" in Grand Rapids. It's a great place to marvel at flowers and makes a wonderful backdrop for photo sessions. I really enjoyed working with Grace & Vyt! So much fun and such personality. These two make me smile!

Until today, I had only "heard" of this movie. Now that I've watched it, I'm pretty sure my life would still be complete if I hadn't. ;)

I helped a friend out with a wedding recently and I spent some of today looking through & editing the photos. It was a beautiful wedding and such a great group of people. :) Despite the hot day it was still a lot of fun! More pictures from this day are to come!!!

While in Chicago, we did a TON of shopping, my favorite store was Anthropologie!!!!! I lust over the stuff on their website often and it was so exciting to go to an actual store front. Definitely one of the highlights of my day. Kudos to Brad for pointing it out, I probably would have missed it completely! :)

What would a trip to Chicago be without "Garrett's Popcorn??" It was only fit that we grab a few bags for the road home! :)

Home from Chicago! I babysat my cousins Lily & Claire today and I took them to see the new "Cat's & Dog's" movie. Not my favorite movie ever but if it makes them happy, it makes me happy!

Cleaning day!!!! I spent the majority of my day cleaning and organizing. Although it's not my most favorite thing to do, it is rewarding to sit down and come home to a clean apartment!

Project 365-I am loved!
Day 215
Still on the road with my Dad, our last night we saw this gorgeous sunset. I SO badly wanted to stop & not two seconds later my Dad slows the car down and stops on the side of the road. He said "I can't let you miss this." I have the coolest Dad ever! He totally gets me! :)
Finally HOME!!! Yaaaay! <3 I didn't have any groceries at home so I opted to go to the store my first night back to get some stuff for my apartment. I don't thoroughly enjoy grocery shopping but Brad went with me so at least I didn't have to go by myself! :)

My first full day back I enjoyed the afternoon with my wonderful Aunt Zita! We sat by the pool, relaxed, drank some wine and soaked up some sun, or in my case, too much sun! :)

I LOVE my Mom. I was incredibly blessed to discover this sweet card in the mail from my mom today. A complete surprise & nothing else to say but that she loves me. I love how my mom and I relate to one another. It's very cool! <3

Today, I spent a LOT of time today sorting through my "important paperwork" and in my attempt to get organized I bought the perfect and oh-so-cute file folder. If I'm gonna be organized, I might as well have fun with it!

I woke up this morning and it was raining outside. I immediately opened all my windows, made some coffee, lit a few candles and sat cozy under a blanket listening to the rain. What a way to start the day!
Day 221
I have been completely overwhelmed and loved by my family and friends this week! I got a lot in the mail today. A wonderful box of goodies from my mom & a sweet belated birthday package from my darling friend Camille! I don't know what I'd do without all the wonderful & beautiful people I have in my life.

Now that my birthday has passed I had thank you cards to write! :) I admit that by the time I was finished with these I was over it.....BUT.....I really do enjoy letting people know how much I appreciate all that they do for me.

Sweet baby girl!
During my recent trip to North Carolina I was blessed to see my best friend and her new little baby girl. I just couldn't resist taking pictures of her sweet face! :) McKenna is absolutely wonderful and I love her!

Day 208
Today I had a wonderful lunch with my beautiful friend, Katrina. She blessed me with an early birthday present. I absolutely LOVE it and am sure to wear it all the time. :)
This is great! :) My family went out with our friends for a movie. The adults went to see "Salt" and the kids (in which I was included) went to see "Romona & Beezus." After, we got Cold Stone ice cream & we were curious to know if the toy store was still open. So, we walked down and sure enough, CLOSED! :( Everyone was bummed but my Dad went up to the door and saw the owner still inside with his crew. The owner knows my family really well because the same toy store has another location right in town where we live....and let's say we help keep business going. So, he recognized us, turned all the lights back on and told us to come on in and enjoy! It pays to know people sometimes!! :)

I had a really great session with some cute kiddos today! They were sweet as could be and we had a lot of fun. A full post of these kids will be coming soon!

Today I took some pictures of my best friend's little one, McKenna. She is adorable and I'm totally in love with her. :)
Day 212
I was hanging out at home this morning and I heard PURE JOY and laughter coming from the other room. I go look to see what's going on and my little brother and dad are having a full, blown out, nurf gun war! My brother was laughing so hard! They had army men all over the table, shooting at them and each other. I loved hearing all of the fun and I just had to get a picture of my brother's priceless face!
Day 213
I started on the road today with my dad to Michigan! :) This lamp was in our hotel and I just thought it was the coolest thing ever. I know, it's just a lamp.....but look at it!
